I developed this worksheet as a way to access students’ perspectives on what it means to be human. It cultivates discussions around this sensitive topic. 

TIPS:
Ensure that students have a sketchbook or journal
Give them plenty of time to reflect, write, and draw their responses.

I’ve used it as an “ice breaker” to introduce students to one another. 

Often, students apply it as a conceptual basis from which they write papers and create art and art activities.
